Sabbath School, 19 June 2010

Communication happens with the receiver.  The message that you encoded with words, body language, or sounds is only meaningful if someone receives and interprets that message.  Both the receiver and sender are needs for communication to exist.  However, in order for the communication to yield a meaningful relationship, the talking—and listening—needs to be reciprocated.

Prayer is communication.  It is also a two-way street.  Sometimes we talk and God listens, and sometimes God talks and we listen.  This week, we will not be studying a prayer but we will be listening to what Jesus said in John 14 and 15 to see what He said to us.  This week, we’ll be practically studying listening…

Hope to see everyone there!
