Sabbath School, 24 July 2010

Two of the bigger themes within Christianity are the concepts of justification and sanctification.  Paul spends a lot of time and effort in the book of Romans focusing on the former—justification.  At a time when one faction was advocating strict adherence to the Jewish laws and another faction was brand new to Christianity, he saw the necessity of explaining the role of faith, the law, and works in salvation.  How do they intertwine grace?  Do we need to only focus on one and ignore the rest?  These are some of the questions we will be looking at this week in class.

We hope to see you all there!
