Bible study Feb. 25 – The Final Fate of the Wicked

Place: Paul’s (For address/directions, please email me at r.e.fuller@gmail.com)

Time: 7:00 pm for drinks/snacks, study begins at 7:30 pm

Has God really said, “Love me, or I’ll torture you for all eternity?”

Christians love to discuss how God treats his friends; how he rewards them with an eternal life of peace.  But perhaps a more interesting question is: How does God treat his enemies? And what does that say about the kind of person he is?

Ellen White has said, in The Great Controversy, “The appalling views of God which have spread over the world from the teachings of the pulpit have made thousands, yes, millions, of skeptics and infidels. The theory of eternal torment is one of the false doctrines that constitute the wine of the abomination of Babylon, of which she makes all nations drink.”

Dr. Jonathan Gallagher has graciously offered to facilitate our discussion, and has also prepared some study materials for us, which are attached below. Please note that an audio recording of this Bible study will be made, so that more than those present will benefit from what we talk about.  Hope to see you there!
