Sunday soccer @ Centennial Park on March 13th

When: 11:30am picnic, 1pm soccer
Where: Centennial Park (tentative)
What: a good day to eat and to play outside, casual soccer

Hello everybody! I waited till today to get an accurate weather forecast. So it seems that we’re looking at a cool but sunny Sunday, terrific.

About the picnic, you can bring anything you want to eat, but a little more to share with others. Any park we play at is going to have plenty space for us to spread a blanket and eat. I’m going to bring some juice and snacks.

Location is set at Centennial park (<3 mi from Lerone, Kristina, and Sonia’s place in Columbia, MD) at present, but if most comers are going to be from Spencerville, we can switch to a field nearby for the majority’s consideration, but you need to suggest a location in the comment because I don’t know the Spencerville area well.

I’m going to try to drag a seasoned soccer player (coach) along from Rockville SDA, he’ll show us some moves, bring some nice soccer balls, and set up some fun games for us to play. It’ll be fun, guaranteed, and no skill required!

Oh, I’ll be traveling from Rockville, hitch a ride with me if you want, let me know.

Please drop a comment here if you plan to come 🙂

Shawn

If you haven’t been to the park before – try this link , “south area”, the entrance at the intersection of Clarksville Pike and Ten Mills Rd is a good area to park and meet up first.

If you use GPS, use this address but take the entrance mentioned above:
10000 Rt 108
Columbia, MD 21045
