Sabbath School, 4 June 2011

The story of the Prodigal Son is a perfect example of Jesus’ unconditional love for one and all. On one hand, we have a son who is obedient to his father and who works diligently to ensure the prosperity of his father. On the other hand, we have a son whose adventurous spirit takes him away from home and whose unwise choices lead him to a degraded life. Toward the end of the story, the defeated son returns home and is willing to reduce himself to the status of a servant to his father. Instead, his father greets him with warmth and love and throws a party to celebrate his return! This week we’ll learn more about the powerful parallel of this story to the love the Father bestows upon us.

We hope to see you all there!
