Bible study Nov. 1 at Rob’s

Hey, everyone, this Friday night’s Bible study will be at my parent’s place in Silver Spring. Email me at r.e.fuller[at]gmail[dot]com for the address. As usual, we’ll do snacks and drinks at 7 PM and start the discussion at 7:30.

DuVaughn has agreed to moderate this week. This is his first time (with our group, at least), so let’s give him some support! Here’s his description of the topic:

Introduction
As you know the Bible is full of promises of God for us. According to one person’s count, there are 3,573 promises in the Bible. The word ‘promise’ itself occurs 13 times in the King James Version of the Bible.

Lesson Goals
How do you hold God to his word? What promises can we claim? Is God really hearing us? Does he understand? How can you claim God’s promises by faith? What are some practical ways to claim what is ours?
We are going to look at God’s promises through the life of David.

I hope you all can make it!

Rob
