Bible Study, October 10 – Pr. Gary Patterson, DMin

Hi Everyone,

This week’s Bible study will be held at Rob’s parents place (email me for address and it will start at 7:30 pm. Feel free to bring a snack or dessert to share 🙂

Our Bible study moderator for this week is none other than Spencerville’s Interim Senior Pastor, Dr. Gary Patterson. I’m extremely happy that he accepted our invitation to join us, and I can assure you this will be a great Bible study 🙂 Pastor Patterson has picked the topic of The Four Gospels to discuss with us, and we will be talking about themes, authors and relationship between the four. He is quite knowledgeable about the Bible, so this would be a great opportunity to ask questions you may have about the Gospels.

In case you have never heard of Pastor Patterson, here is a little bit about him from Spencerville’s website: “Pastor Patterson is a Retired Field Secretary of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His ministry experiences range from pastor, evangelist, and youth director. He has administrative experiences that include serving as president of two conferences, pastoring two large college churches (Southern Adventist University and Walla Walla University), and working at the North American Division as well as the General Conference. He retired from church work in 1999. Clearly not one to retire “easy,” he worked for five years as vice president of Adventist HealthCare System and then entered the world of interim pastor work.”

I hope a lot of you can join us this week! Don’t miss this great opportunity 😉

See you Friday!
