Hey everyone, the “iThirst” Spiritual Retreat is coming up Nov. 7-9 at Mt. Aetna Camp in Hagerstown, MD. ¬†I took a look at the schedule of programming for the retreat and it looks very interesting. ¬†I’ve been to a similar retreat and it was really a blessing. ¬†I’m looking forward to this one.

ARISE Hike and Corn Maze – Oct. 4

September 19, 2014

Hello all: ¬†It’s that time again…the ARISE Hike and corn maze is coming up in two weeks. ¬†I had a great time last year, so I’m pretty excited.

If you haven’t been to a corn maze before, it’s actually quite a lot of fun. ¬†Sounds like kids’ stuff, but I assure you, being in that maze at night can be terrifying. ¬†In a good way, of course. ¬†This particular place (Lawyers Moonlight Maze in Thurmont, MD) has a HUGE, complicated, bewildering maze. ¬†There will be some other stuff to do besides the maze, like a bonfire with food, s’mores, etc.

There’s also an optional hike earlier in the day at Catoctin Mountain Park up near the maze.

If you register by Wednesday, October 1, you’ll get the early bird price of $15.

See you there!
